Visit Doel

Visit

A visit to Doel is always possible. Please respect the peace and quiet and the inhabitants. From 6 p.m. onwards and in weekends you must be in possession of an electronic identity card to enter the village.

Guided walks in Doel and the polders

The guides in Doel have been active in the preservation of their region for years. For a normal guided tour in Doel with a group you can count on about 1.5 hours. However, we also offer guided tours that are shorter or longer. These can include a visit to the threatened polders and surrounding hamlets, part of the port on the left bank or the ” Verdronken land van Saeftinge”. Depending on the interest, we can also focus on nature, agriculture or heritage. The visit can easily be combined with a visit to the local PolderMAS, the visitors centre Saeftinghe or fort Liefkenshoek. Contact info@doel2020.org
